American Rescue Plan Act
Services of Hope is the proud recipient of ARPA funds from the City of Dallas and we’re excited to share how we are utilizing these resources to make a difference in our community.
What is ARPA?
On March 11, 2021, President Biden signed the groundbreaking American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021 into law. This $1.9 trillion package aims to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and its economic impact. ARPA provides substantial funding for public health, vaccines, assistance for vulnerable populations, education, housing stabilization, economic recovery, and direct assistance to families and individuals.
Our Share of ARPA Funds
Services of Hope has been granted valuable ARPA funds from the City of Dallas. These funds empower us to expand our services and provide critical assistance to those in need during these challenging times. We are honored to have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our community's well-being.
Addressing the Challenges
With the help of ARPA funds, Services of Hope is proactively addressing the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. We are implementing a range of initiatives to support families, small businesses, and nonprofits that have been negatively affected. Our aim is to alleviate the public health and economic burdens experienced by our community.
Building Resilience
We understand the importance of long-term recovery and building resilience in the face of adversity. ARPA funds complement the support provided during the initial stages of the pandemic, including the CARES Act Coronavirus Relief Fund. With these additional resources, Services of Hope is committed to making a lasting impact on the well-being of our community.
