She was more than a woman, she was a friend, a family member, an inspiring individual. she left a huge impression on fellow members of the community with her voluntary work and devotion to helping them. Mrs. May showed an example of what a devoted person she was while showing her admiration for Jesus and the huge inspiration he gave to her to follow through with her mission. Mrs. May was an inspiring woman that delivered in helping others. she loved helping in making sure there was food for those in need of a meal. She was a huge advocate for Services of Hope and their goals, as they matched with hers.
JOIN US TO HONOR MRS. SANDY MAY
On November 23rd at Paul Quinn College, we will be hosting the 16th Annual Sandy May Baskets of Blessing.
Each year, we gather in celebration to pay tribute to the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Mrs. Sandy May. She has always made it a vision to nourish the hungry and volunteer her time to help Service of Hope programs. She always said a person cannot receive the gospel’s word with an empty stomach worrying when their next meal will come. It was Mrs. Mays vision of moving families from where they are to where God wanted them. Even after 16 years of this service, it is still changing family’s lives.
