Thanksgiving is a time of joyful celebration, yet also a time of reflection. As Thanksgiving approaches, it’s time to reflect with gratitude. While making your holiday plans and reflecting on all you must be thankful for, it’s also a good time to think about those who are less fortunate and consider whether you can be of assistance to those who are in need.
For our annual Sandy May Baskets of Blessings Thanksgiving event, we’re thrilled to continue our partnership of 13 years with Texas Security Bank, a collaboration that has already transformed the holiday season for thousands of low- to moderate-income families. Together, we make Thanksgiving possible for families who would otherwise struggle to celebrate.
This year, our goal is to reach 3,000 families for Thanksgiving and 3,200 for Christmas, offering more than meals—providing comfort, hope, and a reminder that their community stands with them. By donating, you’re directly lifting up families in need and helping create a season filled with warmth and gratitude for those who need it most.
